Please, stop being so amazing. That first chapter. This is why you are the Novel Queen.

I haven't read this in quite awhile (which is why I constantly tell you I need to re-read this!), but just that beginning gave me chills.

This line:
Waning twilight shone through iron bars, seeming to favor its light on a particular corner of a cell.
WHAT AN INTRODUCTION
Goosebumps. All over my body.

Your writing has totally improved! The vivid verbs, exceptional detail...I just
No Words. And you missy, you know that's big for me.
All I do is blab!

Confession: Due to the fact that I have not read this in about half a year, I honestly didn't remeber how this first chapter was set up. But, wouldn't you say that's a good thing?
Because now I get a complete fresh start, and can dive into a basically whole new story.

Are you planning on renovating the entire thing? Does that mean the plot will change? Characters added? Taken away?
Does somebody die????

So this is more like a quote. I'm posting it here. Dunno where you'll see it first.
But obviously, judging by these words I'm typing now, I've regained my composure and my sanity.
As you read on to the following review I left on "The (X)- Minus Factor", you'll...well, yeah.
And by the way, may I just say--

I don't think I've EVER, ever ever ever ever ever--in my ENTIRE FRICKING LIFE--everEVERVERVEREVER!!!!!! read a story as well-thought-out, suspenseful, well-written, gripping, emotional, powerful, insightful, heartbreaking, thought-provoking, AMAZING as this one.
I'm. Not. Kidding.
This is mainly playing with the human psyche and endurance--not to mention physical pain and torture (which I LOVE in fiction)--which is really what strikes my fancy. I started reading this once before, but it stopped getting updated, and I kind of just...yeah. It was like. Two chapters in. So yeah.
But I just read this WHOLE THING tonight. In about 4 hours. Including VERY brief distractions and possibly two bathroom breaks.
I can't EXPRESS to you how addicting this story was.
It's pushed my imagination past its limits. I could never have pictured something as psychotic as this--and that is the hugest compliment ever.
I have no idea how you managed this story, and how you're going to manage the sequel ( *growls menacingly* ) but I'm floored.
So hopefully that lightens the blow of the following:


WHY THE HELL IS THERE ONLY THE TEASER UP?! WHY THE HELL IS THIS ON HIATUS?!?!?!?!?!?!? WHAT'S GOING ON!??!?!!

I'm deeply in love with these stories. Or rather, Blood Atonement. *pointed glare*
Therefore, it follows logically that in order for me to KEEP FRICKING BREATHING, I need updates.

Author's Response: I think this might just be the longest review I've ever recieved. EVER. Tell ya the truth I was pretty much laughing my ass off the whole time I was reading this XD. I've never had someone so passionate about getting me to update. But that's good. Because for you...I just might :) The reason I'm not awesome and update every few days is because I have college and a somewhat hectic life in between so I actually tend to forget about my writing sometimes. I just get so busy. But eventually i will start plowing away at The X Minus Factor. I do in fact have the whole story planned out. And believe me it's going to be better than the first. If you need something to do while waiting for an update you might like my story "Smothered". It's probably one of my best. Thanks again! And please keep your mind on school! Your whole future is ahead of you! Don't blow it over my story *chuckles evily*

First off, i'm sorry for not reviewing sooner. You see it never occurred to me to actually scroll down when i couldn't find the chapter on the chapter list. All i saw was a thing that said authors note and well... yeah i feel dumb.

ANYWAYS, on with the review!

this chapter left me feeling so cold, in a figurative way of course but it is freaking cold here in gangsterville ohio for sure.

The ending especially got to me. It was definitely creeper city times ten! And poor kevin! having to here his own brother say those things? i'd run too! what a horrible thing to have to hear. What do you say to something like that dude? seriously.

and diana was THERE?! no freakin way homes, that doesn't work for me. I think it's about time you write her right off a cliff don't you? i think we should put it to a vote...

this was seriously so good megs, you captured the moment perfectly. i'm thoroughly creeped the eff out thanks!

I'm so excited for this story, it's really like my absolute FAVORITE!!!
