Summary:

At the age of 17, Keeley's best friend passes away, leaving her 17-month old daughter in Keeley's hands. But until she turns 18 she must prove to a judge via Denise Jonas that she is fit to care for Cara. But who thought that while Keeley lived with her, she would find a deep friendship with Joe. Story Notes:

4 hour train ride with nothing to do spawned a story I've been working on for a few weeks now. I really like where I'm going with it, so... hopefully you'll like it, too. Nick and Kevin don't appear until later chapters, but they have fairly big parts once they are. It's mostly just Joe and Denise for the Jonases at first. Keeley is pronounced Key-lee.
