Soooooo...Hmm--k. So you like NEVER told me you wrote this! And like--it's REALLY good!
So I've been your super #1 fan and reread from start to finish all your stories today. Am I not awesome or what???? They're SO good though! I have pretty much concluded that you are THE best writer on planet earth. I hope that makes you smile:) It made me smile--well not like on the outside, like I was sad on the outside reading this but on the inside I was excited! As I am with all your stories! And being your super #1 fan I must give the freakin ultimate of reviews that is longer than ALL your other comments, 'cause I'm weird like that:) Also I feel bad I haven't reviewed hardly at all on any of your stories. Oh my god girl you HAVE to keep this up! I'm totally in love with this story now!!
I LOVE historical fiction. The holocaust especially is something I think people overlook. It's one of the cruelest acts in our history, thousands of innocent jews died. And I think it's amazing that you've done your research and wrote this. It's beautiful, and you can see the difference even in language. Kevin's is correct for the time. Joe's has a lot of modern slang.
I really can't wait to see where you're going with this! It's original and different. Yet it's a nice twist from the usual romance fics. I really admire you for writing this. Anything about the holocaust or that time really grabs at me emotionally. I know how the nazi's brutalized the Jews. My mom has been to the concentration camps in Germany and just from looking at the brochures she brought back from it, it really brings tears to my eyes. Literally. To see everything they had to go through...all that hell.
ANYWAY---hopefully this get's you inspired to write somemore. You're a great writer that really should be recognized more.

Author's Response: Awww. Thanks. I'm really glad for the positive response to this. I would like to point out, though, that it was not just the Jews who suffered during the Holocaust. Thousands of Gypsies, Polish Catholics, disabled people, homosexuals and many others were slaughtered. So glad you enjoy this. Thanks for the lovely compliments.
